General Purpose
Provides technical support on projects related to wildfire mitigation, asset performance, and T&D Operations across six states. Leverages large data sets including weather, environmental, outage, vegetation, and grid attributes to inform long term risk analysis and aid in decision making. Develops tools, performs analysis and informs the future of data driven decisions. Develops presentations for senior management and recommends and implements changes to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research studies and technical analyses in areas of specialized data science to support company objectives including wildfire risk modeling and analysis, electric service reliability analysis, and ad hoc projects in support of electric operations program teams.
- Support data science projects, processes, or systems over the life cycle of the project, including project identification, scope development, implementation, and long-term operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to analyze complex problems, identify issues, innovate and deliver solutions consistent with schedules established.
