Pacific Power’s Klamath Area has an opening for a journeyman lineman to join their team located in Klamath Falls, OR (Oregon’s City of Sunshine.) The district covers approximately 3,440 square miles in both Oregon and California. Work includes new installations, maintenance and troubleshooting on transmission and distribution electrical systems overhead and some underground. The Klamath Area is home to Crater Lake National Park, Lava Beds National monument, numerous wildlife refuges, and the largest body of freshwater by surface area in Oregon. Must meet examining board review of skills and experience.
Candidate must have formal hot stick training and experience.
Must own, or be able to obtain, a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
This position requires a post-offer, pre-placement physical capacity screening, conducted by a licensed physical therapist, to assure the candidate meets the physical demands of the job. The screening will assess only the identified physical demands of the job being applied for.

Duties typically assigned to the Utility Specialist are Collections/Connects/Disconnects/Removal; Replacement or exchange of single-phase self-contained meters; locates; pole test and treat; Joint Use Coordination; Equipment Operation and others as agreed to by the Company and Union. The Utility Specialist may be required to hold a Commercial Driving license as dictated by the assigned duties and pass minimum qualification requirements as mutually agreed to by the Company and the Union.
