General Purpose

Responsible for transmission pre-schedule, control area checkout, internal (borderline) customer scheduling and checkout; after-the-fact reconciliation and WECC reporting. Serves as a part of a team with rotating job functions, including scheduling, After-The-Fact reconciliation (ATF), E-Tag approval, checkout, and several miscellaneous duties in compliance with NERC/WECC policy. The position will work Monday through Friday, and be On-Call on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

Lead the Pre-Schedule of all energy moving through PacifiCorp’s system
Lead and assist with monitoring ETAG approval/denials
Lead and assist with Internal/Borderline scheduling
Lead and assist After-The-Fact reconciliation.
Lead and assist CAS checkout. Provide OASIS backup as needed
Work with Real Time Scheduling to resolve differences as needed.
Perform and maintain the system load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
Perform and maintain other non-load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
Monitor/maintain/update scheduling filters in Control Area Scheduling (CAS) system
Lead and respond to data requests on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

Perform fixed assets/general accounting and month-end close activities through the preparation and processing of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger accounts and support of internal controls under Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance requirements.
Compile, analyze and interpret asset construction costs to determine if capital or expense in nature and allocate capital costs to final asset records created in PacifiCorp’s fixed asset subsidiary ledger.
Create, retire and transfer fixed assets records and maintain continuing property records in accordance with the requirements of the FERC’s Uniform System of Accounts.
