General Purpose

Develop engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of company SCADA systems used for the protection and monitoring of the electrical grid for system fault protection.

Responsibilities of this position include the following:

Assist in the SCADA design of numerous RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) architectures to support various ongoing projects, including creation or modifications to RTU designs, configurations, and points list implementations.
Coordinate with various engineering disciplines, project engineers/managers, and customer representatives to finalize SCADA point lists based on anticipated requirements.
Work with database analysts, business system analysts, and advanced application teams to ensure the remote data requirements are completely and accurately implemented into the OSI Monarch EMS/SCADA system.
Deliver on commitments, utilizing outside engineering services to accomplish the assigned work when necessary.
