General Purpose

Provides senior leadership and strategic oversight for the multi-state vegetation management program spanning Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. This role is accountable for shaping and delivering program compliance with applicable vegetation policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. This position is responsible for internal and external financial reporting of the program as well as the coordination of vegetation activity in support of construction projects, maintenance activity and wildfire and storm response.  This role serves as the subject matter expert overseeing all internal vegetation programs and is the external facing point of contact for commission staff, third parties and other interveners influencing policy and advocating for company positions.
    
The managing director regularly participates on corporate senior management teams and committees establishing and implementing strategic business objectives, strategies, and plans that directly impact corporate risk management, wildfire mitigation, and system reliability objectives.
