General Purpose
The position is responsible for functional oversight of the day-to-day operations of the long-term load forecasting group, load research group, and diversity, equity and inclusion data collection efforts, which have a significant impact on rate recovery and long-term resource planning. . Responsible for selecting, coaching, and developing employees and Implements and supports Company programs and policies. Usually responsible for establishment and adherence to department budget.
Responsibilities of this position include the following:
Load Forecast Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of customer energy and demand forecasts for use in regulatory filings, long-term Integrated Resource Planning, Company business planning, and daily system operations.
- Manage the team responsible for development and maintenance of models used for forecasting and analysis of customer behavior and effect of regulatory programs impacting energy demand. Manage projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups to understand the effect of various forecast inputs, including large industrial and commercial customer energy use, demand side management, and distributed generation.
