The Real-Time Market Transmission Operations Adviser will provide subject matter expertise to PacifiCorp System Operations in regional strategy and policy recommendations related to energy market activities including the real-time energy and day-ahead market operations. Collaborate with PacifiCorp Energy Grid Operations (EGO) desk in identifying, analyzing, and resolving real-time issues, real-time projects, and event cutovers
Identify and coordinate changes needed to accommodate market enhancement releases and integration for new real-time energy and day-ahead market entities, specifically focused on the areas of interchange schedule submission and intertie representation in real-time energy and day-ahead markets

Serves as a part of a team with rotating job functions, including scheduling, After-The-Fact reconciliation (ATF), E-Tag approval, checkout, and several miscellaneous duties in compliance with NERC/WECC policy. The position will work Monday through Friday, and be On-Call on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

Lead the Pre-Schedule of all energy moving through PacifiCorp’s system
Lead and assist with monitoring ETAG approval/denials
Lead and assist with Internal/Borderline scheduling
Lead and assist After-The-Fact reconciliation.
Lead and assist CAS checkout. Provide OASIS backup as needed
Work with Real Time Scheduling to resolve differences as needed.
Perform and maintain the system load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
Perform and maintain other non-load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
Monitor/maintain/update scheduling filters in Control Area Scheduling (CAS) system
Lead and respond to data requests on an as needed basis.
